This tray was handmade by Claes Thell (1943-2019) in his own studio in Höganäs Sweden. The stoneware is partially glazed with iron oxide. It has a sculptural detail on its surface. It can be used as dish or trinket tray.

Claes Thell was one of leading Swedish ceramists of the XXth century. He became a master of throwing and glazing and created unique stoneware pieces with rustic and rough expressions. His art is represented at the Swedish National Museum of Design and Art.

Measures: Diam 19 cm - H 2,7 cm
